John 14: 6-11 is really packed with meaning. Jesus represents the Way, our path to follow, the method for seeing and reaching God. Jesus is the Truth, the only Truth, the basis for deciding what is true and what is false. And the Life, not meaning so much the source of biological animation, but more the meaning of our living, our purpose, and our forever.
Through knowing Jesus, the disciples know God and have seen God. Jesus tells them, and us, that there is no difference or distance between him and God - they are the same. Then, in John 14: 15-21, the Holy Spirit is promised, with the same oneness, indicating God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are also all the same.
